Famous Mysteries: The Bermuda Triangle
The Bermuda Triangle also referred to as the Devil's Triangle, is located in the western part of the Atlantic Ocean. It has been thought by many that due to its destructive power and amount of planes and vessels gone missing, that it is an area of paranormal activity or perhaps even the location of various extraterrestrial properties. The size of the triangle is quite small in comparison to the size of the entire Atlantic Ocean; however, it covers areas of the Bahamas's, Caribbean islands and coasts of Miami, San Juan, and Puerto Rico. Therefore the triangle acts as one of the main path ways for cargo ships, commercial cruise liners, and private aircrafts traveling from America, Europe, and to the Caribbean Islands.
Although scientists are not 100% sure as to why the Bermuda triangle has taken ships such as: the luxurious cruise line SS Marine Sulphur Queen, the private yacht Connemara IV, or even the two US airforce KC-135 Stratotankers, most present day scientists have come to the conclusion, that the various missing planes and vessels can be attributed to rogue waves. As rogue waves are literal giant waves that appear out of nowhere, and originate from nothing. These mysterious waves are still a huge mystery to oceanographers all over. As the Bermuda Triangle has taken 10 known incidents, the Bermuda triangle still remains one of the most mysterious things present in the Atlantic Ocean, as it is often suggested by many that once within the triangle, it is truly a gamble as to whether or not you'll make it out alive.
