Serial Killer: Ted Bundy
Theodore Robert Bundy, was born on November 24, 1946 in Burlington, Vermont, and died in Florida State Prison, in Bradford County, Florida. Charged for an estimated 30 homicides that included acts of rape, kidnap, and necrophilia of women, were the only ones of which he admitted. The true number of individuals traumatized, or perhaps dead from the cold hard killing hands of Ted Bundy still and will remain a mystery forever. However, Ted's early childhood was not necessarily all that terrible, as his grandparents homeschooled him, he received a diploma, and continued onto higher levels of education. Unfortunately, his drinking habit started to progress and triggered his progressively down spiraling self loathing attitude. However, after a drastic turnaround from breaking up with his girlfriend, Ted continued school and graduated college with a degree in psychology and soon after worked in a politician's recruitment office.
Unfortunately, there is no established trigger to his murders, as many believe that he was a completely normal individual, there is not a definitive scenario, item, or problem that caused his frequent yet brutal killings. His first killings are still largely unknown due to the fact that he told multiple people multiple different stories, therefore making it impossible to conclude which of his stories were true. However, one of his most well-documented and researched killings was his murder of Lynda Ann Healy, who was a UW coed student, and from there one Ted Bundy started a snowballing effect of murder, rape, and necrophilia in the college campus. The campus scared in a state of panic all of the sudden one day had no more incidents, as he had planned to move to his next campus. Until august 1975 when Bundy was arrested sentenced to trial and put in jail, where he would have numerous escapes, but ultimately faced the electric chair in Florida on January 24, 1989.
