Scary Snakes
In some settings, the presence of even the smallest and harmless snake can be frightening, but when it comes to the world's most dangerous snakes, there is real reason to be scared. Some of these snakes are of ridiculous size, some have a fatal bite and some are just plain intimidating, but regardless, they are all scary.
When it comes to size, the Green Anaconda is one of the largest and most frightening snakes the world has to offer. Found primarily in South American countries, the anacondas roam the jungles with an average length of 25 feet, though larger snakes have been reported. Anacondas are capable of attacking large prey such as jaguars and alligators. They kill their prey by wrapping around them and crushing their bodies. Taipans are the world's most venomous land snakes. Reaching lengths of 12 feet, the Australian land snake is capable of killing a human in less than two hours, if proper medical treatment is not taken immediately. Their fast acting venom consists of highly effective, fast acting neurotoxins. Though less venomous than the Inland Taipan, the king cobra is easily one of the world's scariest snakes. When threatened, a king cobra takes an upright posture and proceeds to expose its signature hood, fangs and split tongue. This may be one of the scariest things you'll ever see, because the king cobra is the world's largest venomous snake, reaching lengths up to 18 ft. The king cobra's venom causes a slow and painful death, which ends with the paralyzing of the prey's respiratory system. Other scary snakes include the North American rattle snake, that creates a buzzing sound when threatened and the non-venomous python of Asia, Africa and Australia that can swallow a crocodile whole.
Out of all the continents, Africa sure has some of the most dangerous and venous snakes in the world. The Black Mamba is one of Africa's most dangerous snakes. Not only that but, it is also known as very fearful snakes in East, Central and Southern Africa. It never hesitates to strike; speeding up to 12mph and it's always very aggressive when strangers are around. Also, its brown/olive skinned body can reach up to 8ft in length. It can strike up to 12 times when encountering prey and each time, it delivers enough neuro and cardio-toxic venom that kills a dozen men in an hour. The Puff Adder is another one of Africa's deadliest snake. With its solid and wide girth, it can grow up to 1 meter in length. Their colors depend on the places that they are in. They usually live all over Africa except for dense rain forest and deserts. It is known to be responsible for most human fatalities. With its large fangs and venom, they can easily kill a grown man with a single bite. People can get easily get bitten by it because of its camouflage protection.
