Serial Killer: Jack The Ripper

Perhaps one of the most notably and well-known yet completely unidentified serial killers to present day, Jack the Ripper, had tremendous malicious and murderous success in the White chapel district of London in the late 19th century. As Jack the Ripper was often sought to be an Irish immigrant, he was famous for targeting female prostitutes. His actions can be seen as abominable, and furthermore inhumane. Jack's infamous way of murder was usually to cut the victim's stomach and abdominal area prior to slitting the victim's throats and wrists, as he was often deemed one of the most successful serial killers of all time. Jack was notorious for cases such as the Canonical Five, Mysteries of White Chapel, and the infamous murders of the ripper, as most of these murders consisted of multiple individuals being killed. It is often said that Jack's skills were of a surgical level, and furthermore that he was a literal serial killing genius.

The most famous series of killings linked to Jack the Ripper are often sought to be the murders of White Chapel during the late 1880's and early 1890's. After the Canonical Five, Ripper's presence was well-established and acknowledged in the White Chapel community. Four individuals were killed during the incident of the White Chapel Murders, however, these were often seen by many as Jack's last. Although there is no solid evidence as to who the killer was, there were several alleged possible suspects, one of them being Sir Melville Macnaghten, who was also the Assistant Commissioner of Crime within the London Metropolitan Police. Although he was never actually condemned or proven guilty of the actions of the ripper, he was also never proven innocent.
