Ghost Towns
Ghost towns are a topic that is considered by some as a fictitious myth, while others consider it a prevalent place for paranormal spirits to roam around living their last few days on earth for eternity. No matter what country you visit, there is some sort of scary and spooky mystery circulating about a city that was once in its prime, but is now a deserted and paranormal wasteland.
Some ghost towns are now being shown as an exhibit to display past ways of life for individuals living in that era. One of the more famous ghost town attractions is located in southern California, and has been recently changed into more of a tourist attraction than anything. Calico was found in 1881 during the prime times of the silver strikes, and is now a historical ghost town for tourists everywhere. However, taking a step away from the commercialized ghost town of Calico, there are many places in the world that have their own ghost towns that are far from a tourist hot spot. Ghost towns are common in Europe and Asia, as World War II left many cities and towns deserted in order to escape. These once booming and flourishing towns that held tens of thousands of people are now but wastelands that have apparent paranormal activity. Cities such as Milakpur Kohi, Hashima and Kowloon are all cities in the Asian continent that have been active places of ghost hunting. These towns are often run down, with zero population and upkeep. Furthermore, most of these cities are now restricted due to various incidents of tourists or other individuals never happening to return.
