Which Zoo Animals Are The Scariest
As you walk through the zoo, do you ever wonder which animals are the scariest and can potentially harm or even kill you? Although you may think that animals are our friends so not many of them will be dangerous, but this is not the case. Among many of the animals, below are a few that are seen by many as the scariest of all zoo animals.
The Black Mamba is a snake with dangerous venom. Native to sub-Saharan Africa, Black Mamba grows up to 14 feet long and travels more than 12 miles per hour. Because of its lethal venom, you should be careful not to threat it. Saltwater Crocodiles are very aggressive crocodiles that live in both salt and fresh waters ranging from Australia north to Southeast Asia. Unlike other crocodiles, saltwater crocodiles eat humans. Although Polar bears are seen as white, fluffy and cute animals, they are the largest land predators in the world. With 1500 pounds body and 2-inches long claws, they can potentially attack humans.
Wolves are the world's biggest and most powerful dogs. With their strong jaws and sharp teeth, they can easily rip into their prey.
The king of animals, Lions are known as one of the animals that eat humans. In 1898, a pair of lions ate 135 people working on a railroad in Kenya.
Saltwater crocodiles are the largest living member of the crocodilians and reptiles. This crocodile is usually found in Thailand, Vietnam and Northern Australia. They can grow up to 18 feet, 5.45 meters. Not only do they attack huge animals like adult water buffalo, they also attack people. They are very dangerous and people are unaware of them most of the time because they are camouflaged both underwater and on dry land. Also, despite their features, they have an amazing speed. Once they attack someone or something, it doesn't let go until the victim dies. What it does is that it grabs the victim very hard and starts rolling very powerfully until the victim dies.
The Rhinos are usually found in Africa and India, and they are known to be responsible for around 12-14 fatalities a year. They are very big, heavy, non predictable and not very peaceful or calm. They easily get bothered by the creatures around them thinking they are dangerous and annoying. Their body weight is usually up to 3.5 tons and with this body mass, the rhinos can cause serious destructions. In 1928, a rhino destroyed 2 wagons from the rails and just disappeared to the bushes. One might think that they are slow because of their body weight; they are actually pretty quick and can run up to 30km/h.
